Las Vegas, Family friendly, family friendly Las Vegas, kids las vegas,

Could it be: family friendly Las Vegas?

Due to gaming regulations, children are persona non grata in Las Vegas casinos.  I can remember,  as a 10-year old boy, staring in absolute fascination at a slot machine in the Stardust hotel, only to have  security – in a heart beat – whisk me off the gaming floor.

Children may stay in Las Vegas hotels, but booking multiple hotel rooms with the cost of restaurant meals is expensive and challenging.  What is a family to do?  Las Vegas Gated Villa is the answer!  Your own private, half-acre gated resort that provides a safe and fun place, indoors and out, for children and the family to enjoy their vacation.

Two of the favorite family activities in Las Vegas are the Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay, Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden at the Mirage,  and Adventuredome Theme Park at Circus Circus

The Mirage Hotel has more than just the dolphin and tiger filled Secret Garden– it isn’t just a casino.  The Mirage is actually home to a 20,000-gallon saltwater tank with an indoor coral reef with more than 450 fish.  Located behind the front desk, guests checking in get a first glimpse at the fish, but the hotel welcomes non-guests to check out the aquarium for free.

One successful example of a family-friendly activity is Circus Circus, which operates the Adventuredome theme park.  The indoor theme park features rollercoasters, kids’ rides, family rides, 4D adventures, as well as bumper cars, miniature golf, an arcade and midway, laser challenges and bowling.  The theme park is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and 10 a.m. to midnight on weekends.

And if you’re looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the Strip, there are still plenty of wonderful, family-friendly activities all around Las Vegas!

Trying to beat the summer heat (but tire out your kids)? Las Vegas has it’s very own water park! Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas has tons of coupons and discounts on their website to help keep costs down.  If your family has a sweet tooth, tour Las Vegas’ very own chocolate factory. . . for free! Ethel M Chocolate Factory offers free, daily tours  that come with free chocolate tasting. And if you’re looking to get out and enjoy the desert but in a safe way, check out The Springs Preserve.
